My half brother is on here as a memorial. My father dealt with alot of pain about this. Kirkland meant everything to him and everyday he still struggles with the pain, Kirkland will never be forgotten, even though I didn't know him I still love him. This was before I even met my father. My father is still hurting from all of this and I understand this. This is his fourteen year old daughter, and Im going to be here for my dad to help him when he needs some support. My dad and my mom had my 2 year old brother 2 years ago and I was happy that he came into my life yes sometimes he gets on my nerves but I protect him with my life and nothing will ever happen to him. I know I don't know how it feels to lose a child but I know how it is to see your father hurting from losing his son, and everytime I see him sad, it makes me wanna cry because I don't like seeing my daddy hurting. All I wanna do is get in his lap and hug and him and don't let go knowing that ILL allways be there for him. I love you daddy and Kirkland Michael Rizzuti even though I dont know you I still love you.

i have 2 children of my own.One of them is 1 years old i wouldn't know what i would do is i lost him my children is my life i would protect them.i am so sorry for your lost.

I would like to send my love to ALL children or Families who have lost a child due to the ignorance of another! I think this is an amazing petition and it should be passed. Anyone who could harm a child should be put to death! Or be faced with people to do the same to them as they did to those helpless children!

I would like to send my condolenses to anyone who has ever lost a child. I have two children of my own and I couldn't imagine what I would do if I ever lost them. I read some of the memorials and I cried just thinking of the pain and suffering these children had to endure. I hope this law passes. I think anyone who is sick enough to harm a child should be put to death.

i have 2 young kids and hearing bout abused kids n murdered babies it breaks me heart to hear how such pain could be caused to such little bodies i want these people to pay big time for putting pain to other kids they should be put away and not come out ever

This may sound a bit harsh and I'm sorry for the loss of your child, but we must also educate young mothers about exposing their children to the boyfriends they take up with. Many times, these men have full access to the home when only being known for a few months. I'm sure this was not this mans first violent outburst and he should not have been given access to a home where the children are. You are doing a good thing here but please add the education to young mothers everywhere that they should know who they are dating before exposing them to the children. Dating at least for a year. If he cares anything about you at all and is mature, he will see what a loving caring mother you are putting your Children first, which should always be the objective. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
